What an incredible day we had at the second Emergency
Expo!
The event was a huge success, and that’s all thanks to the amazing people who came
together to make it happen.
To our 2,500 visitors – thank you for showing up in such great numbers, bringing your families,
asking questions, and
getting involved. Your curiosity, support, and enthusiasm created an amazing atmosphere and showed
just how important
events like this are for building safer, stronger communities.
To our 23 exhibitors and their 140 staff and volunteers – we are so grateful for the time, energy,
and expertise you shared. From
impressive displays and live demonstrations to the friendly conversations at each stand, you gave
our visitors a true
behind-the-scenes look at the incredible work you do every day. You inspired kids, educated
families, and reminded us
all how dedicated our emergency services and community partners are.
To our 18 Expo volunteers – simply put, we couldn’t do it without you. From set-up to pack-down,
from guiding visitors to
supporting exhibitors, your hard work and commitment ensured the Expo ran smoothly and safely. Your
positivity and
willingness to help made a huge difference.
And to our food vendors – thank you for keeping everyone fuelled with delicious options throughout
the day. You added to the festival feel and made sure there was something for everyone to
enjoy.
Emergency Expo is about more than one day – it’s about celebrating the people, agencies, and
organisations who protect and support our communities, and helping everyone feel more connected and
resilient.
Together, we truly achieved that.
Thank you again to everyone who played a part in making this year’s Expo so special. With 23
exhibitors, 2,500 visitors, 140 dedicated exhibitor staff/volunteers, 18 event volunteers, and
fantastic food vendors, this year’s event was
